Redesigned guides and refreshed documentation
Guides now use a clearer catalog, hero, and page layout, with refreshed Python, authentication, authorization, and security copy.

Product docs only help if you can find the right guide and stay oriented once you are in it. The Authdog guides section had grown a catalog of cards and a mix of page layouts. The section now has a single visual system and refreshed copy on the topics people open most.
This is the longer note behind the August 30 changelog entry.
What changed
The guides catalog, cards, and hero share one layout. The hero uses a terminal-rain visual so the section is recognizable next to reference docs and the Journal. Individual guide pages got consistent navigation and typography so jumping from a recipe to a concept page does not reset the reading frame.
Copy was refreshed across:
- Python integration
- AI agent security
- Audit logs
- SSO
- SIEM
The work is documentation and presentation. APIs and console routes did not change with this release.
How to use it
Open Guides from the docs catalog. Cards now group by topic instead of a flat list. Each guide page keeps a sidebar of nearby pages so you can move from an overview into a recipe without returning to the index.
If you bookmarked an older URL, the path should still resolve; the redesign targeted layout and copy, not a slug rewrite.
Trust boundaries
Guides describe current product behavior. They are not a substitute for the changelog when you need an exact ship date, and they are not a compliance artifact. Prefer the referenced API or console module when a guide and an implementation disagree — the implementation wins.
