Documentation now includes more migration guides, additional languages, and better search placement.

Shipping a product change is only half the work if the docs lag behind. Authdog documentation now covers more migration paths, adds Japanese and German alongside the existing language scaffolding, and places search where people actually look for it.
This is the longer note behind the July 16 changelog entry.
How it works
The docs set grew in three places:
- Migration guides for moving an existing user base, plus a marketing glossary of authentication terms
- Japanese and German translations, on the same multi-language scaffolding as the rest of the site
- DocSearch, sitemap coverage, and crawler configuration so docs pages are discoverable
Guides stay task-oriented: pick a source IdP, map identities and roles, then cut over in stages. The glossary is for shared vocabulary, not a second API reference.
Set it up
Nothing to enable in the console. Open the docs in the language you need:
- Start from Guides for migration recipes and the glossary of terms.
- Use the language switcher for Japanese or German when that locale is available.
- Search from the docs header. DocSearch is indexed from the sitemap the crawler already sees.
If a page is not translated yet, the English original remains the source of truth.
Trust boundaries
Docs describe public behavior. They are not a substitute for the changelog when you need the exact ship date of a control-plane change. Translated copy can trail English; do not treat a missing locale page as proof a feature is absent.
Search hits depend on the crawler having seen the page. A brand-new doc can take a cycle to appear in DocSearch.
