Planning Center signs users in with the account their church or organization already uses for people, services, and giving.
Copy the redirect URI
In the Authdog console, select the project and environment, open Authentication > Providers, find Planning Center, and click Enable. Copy the redirect URI shown in the form:

- Open the Planning Center developer applications page.
- Create a new application and name it.
- Under Redirect URI, paste the redirect URI from Authdog.
- Select the People scope.
- Save, then copy the Application ID and Secret.

Save, then toggle the connection active.
What Planning Center returns
Authdog requests the people scope and reads the profile from https://api.planningcenteronline.com/people/v2/me.
The People API returns the person record for the signed-in user: id, name, and the primary email address on file.
Planning Center identities are organization-scoped. The same person at two organizations is two records.
Test it
- Open your environment's hosted sign-in page, or link to
https://identity.authdog.com/api/v1/signin/<connectionId>. - Select the Planning Center button and complete the flow.
- Confirm the user appears under Users in the console with a Planning Center identity linked.
Troubleshooting
