NAVER signs users in with their NAVER account, the other consumer identity most South Korean users already have.
Copy the redirect URI
In the Authdog console, select the project and environment, open Authentication > Providers, find NAVER, and click Enable. Copy the redirect URI shown in the form:

- Open the NAVER Developers application page and register an application.
- Select 네이버 아이디로 로그인 (Login with NAVER) as the API to use.
- Choose the profile fields you need — name, email, nickname, profile image.
- Set the environment to PC웹 and paste the redirect URI from Authdog as the callback URL.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
Configure Authdog

Save, then toggle the connection active.
What NAVER returns
Authdog requests the provider's default scopes and reads the profile from https://openapi.naver.com/v1/nid/me.
The nid/me endpoint returns the NAVER id, and whichever of email, nickname, name, and profile image you requested.
Fields you did not select at registration are simply absent from the response — check the app's configuration before assuming a mapping bug.
Test it
- Open your environment's hosted sign-in page, or link to
https://identity.authdog.com/api/v1/signin/<connectionId>. - Select the NAVER button and complete the flow.
- Confirm the user appears under Users in the console with a NAVER identity linked.
Troubleshooting
