Login Methods

Authdog offers various ways to allow users to login to your application. The following methods are available:

Email and Password (coming soon)

This is the most common method of authentication. Users will be required to enter their email address and password to login to your application.

Passwordless (coming soon)

• Email Link

  Users will be sent an Authentication link to their email address. Clicking on the link will log them in to your application without entering a password.

  Note that only validated emails in Authdog platform, linked to an active account will be able to login using this method.

• SMS Auth

  Users will be sent an Authentication code to their mobile phone. Entering the code will log them in to your application without entering a password. The code will expire after 3 minutes (configurable).

  Note that only validated mobile numbers in Authdog platform, linked to an active account will be able to login using this method.

Social Login

Authdog supports social login via mainstream providers such as Google, GitHub, Azure, Spotify etc... This is a great way to allow users to login to your application without having to create a new account, reusing their existing social account to securely access your application.
